We Are Kentuckians: Tools for Building Racial Justice in the Mountains

Are you interested in the issue of racial justice but not sure how to talk about it with your friends, family members, co-workers? Would you like to find a community of folks who are interested in learning more and taking action?

On Saturday May 7, the Perry County chapter of Kentuckians For The Commonwealth is hosting We Are Kentuckians: Tools for Building Racial Justice in the Mountains, an interactive workshop where we will make space to talk about race and racism, develop tools and language to help navigate difficult conversations, reflect on our vision for the world we want to live in, and develop tools on how to get there together.

This free workshop is open to anyone who shares our vision and commitment to equality. Lunch will be provided. For more information or directions, contact Jessie Skaggs at [email protected] or at (606) 263-4982.
