Sustainability Tour!

The Northern Kentucky and Scott County chapters will be hosting a tour of places that help encourage a sustainable approach to our economy, energy, and land usage, and to look at how closely tied environmental and economic justice issues can be.

The day will begin at the Covington Farmers Market at 9:00 AM, with the programming beginning at 9:30. From there the members are going to arrive at a carbon neutral school, Turkeyfoot Middle School, for a tour of the facility at 11 AM. At 12:45 we will be doing lunch at Brooks Meats in Walton, KY, and will be finishing the day by doing a tour of a home in Scott County.
