Follow-up from yesterday's Virtual Lobby Day for a Healthy Democracy

Yesterday's Virtual Lobby Day for a Healthy Democracy was a big success, despite so many weather-related challenges. We had over 70 participants, had some good legislative meetings, a lobby training, social media training, letter to the editor training, spokesperson training, generated tons of calls to the legislative message line and good outreach through social media, and had a fantastic virtual rally with powerful stories in the afternoon.

Legislative Message Line – Call the toll-free Legislative Message Line (800-372-7181) to leave a message for any legislator or group of legislators ("House Leadership" or "House Elections Committee," for example) and ask them to "support HB 232."  The line is open 7 a.m.-9 p.m. ET M-Th and 7 a.m.-6 p.m. Friday.  

Example:
“My name is Dave Newton, 15 Wallace Ave, Covington, KY 859-420-8919.”
“This is a message for Rep Buddy Wheatley, members of House Leadership, and House Elections Committee members"
“The message is ‘Please support HB 232 to restore voting rights’ ”
