I Love Mountains Day 2009

Last year, KFTC brought nearly 1,000 people to Frankfort on Valentine's Day to celebrate our love of the mountains and to lobby in support of legislation to stop the dumping of mining wastes into streams (the Stream Saver Bill).

We hope to continue this tradition in 2010 to keep pressure on our legislators. On Thursday, February 11 we hope to take the unprecedented momentum we have against mountaintop removal and bring hundreds of people out to push legislators to do the right thing and pass this legislation.

To do this we need to start working now to mobilize our friends and families to come out to I Love Mountains Day 2010.

So save the date, schedule a day off from work or school, tell your friends and family, get a class or a group you are a member of to plan to come, and join us in Frankfort on February 11th.
