<title>Voices from Appalachia: Eastern Kentucky in Transition</title>
	<link>http://www.kftc.org/publications/KY_Transition_Report_10.5.2010.pdf</link>
<description>Voices from Appalachia: Eastern Kentucky in Transition tells the stories of multiple Eastern Kentuckians who are working to support such a transition. Some work to diversify the local economy for themselves and future generations, some to feed their families, some to work toward healthier communities and environments, and some to increase opportunities to live in the places they love. These Appalachians are advancing viable alternative energy sources, cultivating local food systems, developing new businesses, and creating collective spaces for communities to gather. All are working to spread awareness that local people in Eastern Kentucky have the innovation, strength, and political will to transition to a healthier economy before it is too late.</description>
