Perry
The Perry County chapter works on a range of different environmental and economic justice issues. We support communities and individuals impacted by lax enforcement of regulations around mining and other natural resource extraction.
We also support citizens lobby to raise the minimum wage, provide better access to
health care, create a fair, adequate tax system, protect our streams, and change
the enforcement system on coal truck weight limits.
Our voter empowerment project involved getting input from folks all over the county about issues their concerned about, distributing a candidate survey, and working with
others to hold a candidate forum.

"KFTC empowers residents to bring about positive changes in their communities. It gives members confidence that they can make a difference. You are not one person, but part of a statewide organization of thousands supporting you and your cause."
-Russell Oliver, Perry County Chapter member
-Lyle Snider, Perry County Chapter member
"We may disagree on some of the issues, but there are really good people in this organization, and we're all trying to improve the quality of life in our communities and state."
-John Roark, Perry County Chapter member
