Local voting rights

We believe that one step towards creating a true democracy is allowing everyone to vote. In Kentucky, people who've had felony convictions loose their right to vote forever unless they can get a pardon from the Governor. Kentuckians for the Commonwealth is working to address that law and change it at a state level.
The central Kentucky chapter is working to inform Lexington residents about the importance of voting and encouraging our local government to publicly support the restoration of voting rights for former felons.
