Local economic justice

by Ondine Quinn last modified December-01-2011 05:02 PM

Our chapter cares a great deal about economic justice issues, especially in Lexington. We are currently working on a project of gathering information from Lexington residents about their economic realities. We've created a survey that we've been taking door to door that contains questions about their utility and housing costs, their ability to access good jobs, their connection to local government etc.

Our plan is to use these surveys to connect to Lexington neighborhoods and see if residents are interested in organizing around specific concerns.

If you're interested in being a part of this project, please email Ondine at ondine@kftc.org
