Annual Chapter Meeting Information
"One of the good things about KFTC is the democratic process by which leadership is chosen. This yearly process, beginning in August, is a great opportunity for members to come out and actually steer their organization.”
– Kirk Owens, Jefferson County member
KFTC chapters hold their annual business meetings in August each year. At these meetings, members have the opportunity to:
- Elect members to fill chapter leadership positions.
- Make suggestions for KFTC’s issue platform,
- Nominate members to serve on KFTC’s statewide committees,
- Decide whether or not to remain a KFTC chapter.
All chapter members are encouraged to participate in this annual democratic process. For more information about each item, please click on the links above. A suggested agenda for the annual chapter meetings can be viewed here.
You are welcome to nominate yourself or other chapter members to any leadership positions. You’ll learn a lot by accepting one or more of these roles, and your involvement helps KFTC grow in strength and effectiveness.
