Annual Meeting
KFTC's Annual Membership Meeting
& 25th Anniversary Celebration
October 20-22
The Hindman Settlement School
Hindman, Kentucky
Thanks to all who helped make the annual meeting an exciting weekend of celebration, storytelling, learning and inspiration in the scenic mountains of Eastern Kentucky. It was a fun weekend of catching up with old friends, laughing with new ones and learning something new about the history of the work and organization we love.
This year, in celebration of 25 years of action for justice, KFTC got back to the roots by hosting the meeting at the Hindman Settlement School. The Settlement School is a historic and culturally significant landmark in Eastern Kentucky and provided a beautiful setting for the weekend's festivities.
The Annual Business Meeting on Sunday morning was an important time for KFTC's organizational democracy. We elected statewide officers, adopted a platform of positions and priorities for the coming year, accepted petitions for chapter status and conducted other business.
