Wilderness Trace Tax Justice Workshop | Kentuckians For The Commonwealth

Wilderness Trace Tax Justice Workshop

Kentuckians For The Commonwealth is working for a day when Kentuckians – and all people – enjoy a better quality of life. To make our vision for Kentucky a reality, we need tax reform that is fair, adequate, and sustainable because so much of our daily lives is made possible by the taxes we pay – things like our schools, textbooks, public safety, the justice system, public health, and more. But if we don’t have adequate revenue, all these things suffer, including our quality of life. And that's why we must stand together and lift up our voices in support of fair tax reform.

Join us on Sunday, April 17 at the Boyle County Public Library (307 W Broadway St, Danville, KY 40422) from 3:00 pm to 5:00 pm. for a learning workshop with members of the Wilderness Trace Chapter of Kentuckians For The Commonwealth.  Meet with our Tax Justice Organizer, Beth Bissmeyer, to discuss current revenue and tax reform legislation and the state budget. There will also be an opportunity to learn about KFTC’s tax justice campaign and ways to get involved.
