West Louisville Pop-Up Voter Registration Drive....on Bikes

April 21 is the voter registration deadline for the May 20 Primary Election. Our chapter will be registering voters door to door and on college campuses this month. On April 19 we are planning a Voter Registration Drive focused on registering voters in West Louisville. 

There will be pop-up voter registration events from 12pm to 6pm at the 4 locations listed below. We will spend an hour at each location and then move onto the next location. Participants are invited to ride their bikes from one location to the next and stop to register more voters along the way. 

● 12pm to 1pm: Kroger, 2710 W. Broadway

● 1:30pm to 2:30pm: Chickasaw Park, Tennis Courts

● 3pm to 4pm: Shawnee Park, Basketball Courts

● 4:30pm to 5:30pm: Kroger, 520 N. 35th Street

Riders are encouraged to wear helmets, bring plenty of water and snacks, and obey traffic laws. Bike-friendly routes will be provided. In the event of rain we will not bike but will still plan to register voters at each location. 

Participants are not required to bike or stay for the duration of the voter registration drive. You can plan to meet the group at one or more of the pop-up locations at the designated times.
