Smoketown Community Canvass | Kentuckians For The Commonwealth

Smoketown Community Canvass

The Jefferson County Chapter of KFTC is hosting four community canvasses in the Smoketown neighborhood during the Mayor's Week of Service. The purpose of the canvass is to get the word out about New Directions' Repair Affair; update our Walk Your Block walkability study by re-evaluating damaged sidewalks, illegal dumping sites, and graffiti; and talk to our neighbors about a community convening we are planning this spring.

The canvasses will take place on:

Tuesday, April 19, 4:00 to 6:30 p.m.
Wednesday, April 20, 12:00 to 2:30 p.m.
Thursday, April 21, 4:00 to 6:30 p.m.
Friday, April 22, 12:00 to 2:30 p.m.

No experience necessary. Training and support will be provided. Please wear comfortable shoes and bring water. For more info contact Alicia Hurle at 502-589-3188 or [email protected]
