Love the Lake with Wilderness Trace KFTC

Our chapter has been working hard to get KU to hold a public meeting to address community concerns about the coal ash pollution in Harrington Lake. Our Love the Lake Event will raise awareness about the value and importance of this beautiful lake and offer tools and resources for folks to take action--for a cleaner lake and a cleaner democracy. We'll be in the field across from 471 King’s Mill Road. There will be music, kids activities, door prizes, hot dogs, and the chance to try out a kayak or paddleboard on the lake.
