- Join us at Home Grown Press, the studio of local Lexington artists John Lackey for a screening of the film "Dirty Business" and a discussion of how you can make a difference when it comes to Kentucky's reliance on coal. This event is free and open to the public. Donations to Kentuckians for the Commonwealth are welcome.

- Join us at the Lexington Rescue Mission's Bazaar to make pinwheels for the I love mountains rally in Frankfort on Feb. 14th. We will also be teaching kids about mountain top removal through a tasty activity called "muffin top removal" so please bring the little ones!

- Listen in to WRFL 88.1 Lexington between 4pm-6pm to hear about the activities of Lexington loves mountains week and KFTC's vision and plans for bringing renewable energy and jobs to the bluegrass. Guests will be KFTC member and former EKU student of Appalachian Studies Lindsay Bonds, and central Kentucky KFTC organizer Ondine Quinn.
