CKY Chapter Meeting | Kentuckians For The Commonwealth

CKY Chapter Meeting

Do you ever hear a KFTC member mention "the executive committee" but have no idea what that is? Or maybe you're wondering what exactly makes an organization a "grassroots" one? Or why the heck we do what we do in the first place?

Join us for our monthly chapter meeting! This month, we're hosting a KFTC 101 workshop. We'll cover some organizing basics, our goals and mission, and our organizational structures. Whether you've been involved for years or if you're checking our KFTC for the first time, this workshop will help you see the bigger picture of our work and figure out how you fit into our movement.

Please RSVP today and invite a friend! https://www.facebook.com/events/354376802093871

All are welcome. We strive to make our chapter meetings accessible to all. If you require special accommodations in order to participate, please give us a shout at [email protected].

The space:
The Episcopal Mission House is located at the corner of 4th and MLK in Lexington, just across from the Living Arts and Science Center. The building is wheelchair accessible via an elevator at the main entrance (the "back door" right at the edge of the parking lot).

The space has an additional room that we reserve for any children or young people who might want to come and hang out in their own space while our meeting is in session. We welcome babies or young children in our meetings, and we believe that our work is made better when young folks are at the table. But and also have a separate room with games and art supplies available for those who might need to take a break.
