Central Kentucky Voter Empowerment 101 Training | Kentuckians For The Commonwealth

Central Kentucky Voter Empowerment 101 Training

It’s a big election year and Kentuckians For The Commonwealth has a vision for a healthier, stronger democracy -- a  democracy that is authentic and participatory -- a democracy where everyone has a voice. If you believe in this vision, join us for Voter Empowerment 101, a day of learning, sharing, and planning to create a stronger, healthier democracy in Kentucky this election season.

Participants in KFTC’s Voter Empowerment 101 will:

  • Examine the current political landscape nationally and in Kentucky

  • Envision a healthy democracy and plan steps to get closer to that vision

  • Explore KFTC’s approach to voter empowerment and how it differs from a typical campaign approach

  • Learn how to get candidates to address issues that really matter

  • Learn tools and best practices for doing voter empowerment work, including voter registration drives, door-to-door canvassing, phone banking, and more.

If you have questions or need transportation, please contact Beth Howard at [email protected] or 386-299-2921.

If you cannot make one of the trainings but would like to volunteer in your KFTC chapter area or have a training in your community, please contact Carissa Lenfert at [email protected]
