Our Annual Membership Meeting is a time for members from all over the state to come together to enjoy each other's company, to celebrate the work and accomplishments of the previous year, and to set goals and plan for the coming year. The theme of this year's Annual Meeting is "New Power: Strategies and Solutions to Move KY Forward"

| 6 p.m. | Registration begins at the beautiful Kentucky Leadership Center in Faubush, Kentucky. |
| 7 - 9 p.m. | Welcome & introductions, followed by a bonfire with story-telling, music, and more. |
Saturday, October 11 |

| 8 a.m. | Breakfast |
| 9 a.m. | Presentation and discussion about the New Power Initiative |
| 10:45 a.m. |
Introduction to KFTC’s statewide issue campaigns |

Small groups will tour a “gallery” of KFTC’s current issues, including mountaintop removal mining, restoration of voting rights, fair and adequate tax reform, and sustainable economic development. |

| 1 p.m. | Workshops about Kentucky’s energy challenges |
| In search of a sound energy policy for KY; Kentucky’s dirty power: how it hurts and what we can do; Climate change, coal and Kentucky; Clean energy solutions that can work in Kentucky; Tapping the potential for green industry and green jobs in Kentucky; and a young people’s energy workshop. |

Full group discussion, followed by 2 hours of free time! |
| 6 p.m. | Dinner, awards, and a key note address |
| The keynote address will be,“The challenge and promise of building new power in distressed communities” by Phil Thompson, a professor of Urban Planning and Politics at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT). | |
| 8:30 p.m. | Home-grown Talent Show |

Elect statewide officers, accept chapters and adopt the statewide platform. |
