Did you know that renters in Bowling Green don't have the same protections that renters in Louisville, Lexington, Northern Kentucky, or Somerset have?

Some people don't think that this is a problem. We need to let them know that it is. 

The Bowling Green Human Rights Commission is holding a public forum on Fair Housing at the Parker Bennett Center from 6:00pm -8:00pm on Thursday, April 17. This is an important opportunity to air questions and concerns about the lack of renter protections in Bowling Green.

The forum will also address other local fair housing, including issues relating to housing discrimination, home ownership, and code enforcement. And, Kaleidoscope's Voices 4 Justice youth will be performing poetry and showcasing artwork that they presented at last month's unCommUnity event. 

If that's not reason enough for you to be there, there will also be food.
