Listen to Political Science Professor, Marion Orr, of Brown University discuss Community Organizing and Civic Engagement. “Relationships are central to politics,” according to Dr. Orr. In his recent book, he examines how community organizations and community organizing are claiming a prominent place in civic and political relationships. Dr. Adewale Troutman (invited) will offer opening remarks. A light breakfast will be available, preceding Dr. Orr’s presentation.
