KFTC releases new slideshow about MTR
Mountaintop Removal Slideshow from KFTC Staff on Vimeo.
We recently put the finishing touches on a slideshow about mountaintop removal, featuring an excerpt from the Bob Edwards radio documentary, Exploding Heritage. We're hoping to distribute it to all 138 state legislators to persuade them to support the passage of the Stream Saver Bill this year.
Be sure to share it with your friends and family. If you'd like a copy of the slideshow on DVD to show to a group of people, contact your local organizer, and we'll arrange to get you a copy.

KentuckyElection.org has been updated with new candidate surveys
We've been hard at work these past couple weeks surveying the candidates running for Governor and the other statewide executive offices in this year's election. As a result of our efforts we've received responses from all but two of the campaigns. All of the questions and the candidate's responses have been put up on KentuckyElection.org for anyone to read.
We surveyed them on a wide range of topics important to Kentuckians from mountaintop removal to immigration to tax reform to felon disenfranchisement. If you want to know more about the candidates and their stances on the issues KentuckyElection.org is a great place to start.
Also, please take a moment to tell your friends and family about the website.

Annual meeting registration form is online
This year's Annual Membership meeting is coming up in about a month, October 5th-7th. We really want to encourage all of our members (new or old) and their families to come out to it. It is a great opportunity to relax, meet new people, reflect on our victories from the past year and to plan for the future. We have yet to set our agenda for the meeting, but our registration form for the meeting is already online. So, if you already know you want to attend please go ahead and register.
