Northern Kentucky Celebrates 1st Ever Pride Parade!

Over 1000 people marched in the first ever LGBTQ+ Pride Parade in northern Kentucky! While northern Kentucky has celebrated Pride for the past 8 years, this is the first time in history that the region held a parade as part of the weekend's facilities.

The parade took place in Covington, starting at Covington Landing, heading down Madison to 7th Street to pass by Braxton Brewing, and then on to Goebel Park in the Mainstrasse neighborhood. The Northern Kentucky chapter made sure to have a presence there, with members carrying the banner during the parade, staffing a table, and others enjoying parade from different watch locations.

The parade is estimated to have been watched by over 3,000 people, and included religious groups, LGBTQ+ rights organizations, supportive businesses, dancing troupes, and others. Following the parade attendees enjoyed a party in the park, with booths, entertainment, and more.
