KFTC is live streaming from Frankfort today

by Erik Hungerbuhler last modified February-24-2011 09:31 AM

KFTC members are in Frankfort today to provide testimony on SCR 134, a resolution asking the congress to amend the constitution to require a balanced federal budget.  Our message is not a simple opposition to the resolution but that it oversimplifies the issue and could potentially threaten Kentuckians.  What we really need are economic policies that move Kentucky forward, not distractions from legislation like this.  Speaking in favor of the resolution is newly elected U.S Senator Rand Paul, which will likely bring a lot of additional media to the capital.

We will be streaming live video of our work throughout the day, especially during and after the 10 a.m. Senate State and Local Government Committee hearing.  So leave this window open to catch the feed as we share with you our work in Frankfort.  The committee hearing will additionally be streamed by KET here.

We are working on fixing the sound issue. For the time being you might want to open the KET live feed. It is linked to in the blog post.
