Clay County Lands Unsuitable for Mining Petition Hearing Canceled

The Clay County public hearing for the Lands Unsuitable for Mining petition that was to be held at the Oneida Elementary School Wednesday evening at 6:00 PM has been canceled due to bad weather. It has not been rescheduled; however, we will let you know when it is rescheduled. The petition is an attempt to say that the watersheds of three tributaries of the South Fork of the Kentucky River, Crane Creek and Upper and Lower Teges Creeks, are unsuitable for mining. read more...
