Census Worker Found Hanged in Kentucky

It's truly tragic, but hard to know what this means politically - an indication of rising anti-government sentiment in Kentucky starting to turn violent?  Compounding challenges with getting an accurate count in the census (already difficult in many areas), leading to less funding and representation for places like Clay County?

There is so much we don't know at this point, but we will continue to monitor news and plan our response as we learn more.

Sadness and Sympathy

This is a homicide, murder!
Yes, someone local should do a vigil and ask for answers, and swift capture and prosecution of the murderer (s). This is really outrageous. I hope the authorities catch the culprit(s) soon.

After reviewing the background for this county, it appears to be an issue of hate against government intrusion into the area, period. Maybe they thought he was going to report a drug operation or other illegal income haven. But murder him? It will probably go deeper and involve many local folks, directly or indirectly knowledgeable of this tragedy ... trust me!

My condolences to his loved ones.
