Rally, arrests heighten push for clean energy future

Tomorrow (Thursday), the U.S. Senate Environmental and Public Works Committee will hold a hearing about the impacts of mountaintop removal. KFTC members Teri Blanton, Mickey McCoy, Cody Simpkins, Matt Howard and Rick Moore will be traveling to Washington to represent KFTC at this historic event. On the way they stopped at the rally at Marsh Fork Elementary School in West Virginia. The following is the first in a series of blog posts about their trip. read more...
