Election Day Report from Northern Kentucky
Tayna Fogle, KFTC leader and former felon spokesperson called to report-in a few minutes ago from Northern Kentucky.
Tayna lost her right to vote in Kentucky due to our felony disenfranchisement laws and this is the first presidential election she's been able to vote in since she got her right to vote back.
I was the 11th person in line at 6am. One of the voting machines was down for a little while, so I was worried. All the way up until I saw my name on the list, I was afraid that they'd turn me away for some reason, and I can't explain why. My heart was beating fast and I got a little teary-eyed. I cast my ballot for all of the races and I realized that I just voted in the most historic election of my life."
After leading many phonebanks in Northern Kentucky and in communities in Lexington for the last few weeks, Tayna will be reminding everyone whe can to vote today and will be giving rides to the polls in Northern Kentucky.

YAY TAYNA!
