Call for a Federal Constitutional Convention

Passage of House Joint Resolution 81 would add Kentucky to the list of states to get to the 34 needed to open up the U.S. Constitution for change. These resolutions are directed at "fiscal restraint" and "limiting the powers and jurisdiction of the federal government" – which basically means that they could propose about any changes to our constitution.

House Joint Resolution 119 similarly calls for a national convention to re-write the U.S. Constitution for the purpoe of adding a balanced budget amendment.
